The Friends committee

We function as an independent adjunct to the PCC (Parochial Church Council) and are directly responsible to that regulatory authority of the Church of England. Our activities are covered by the charitable status held by the Church of England. An independent tax accountant audits our accounts annually.

 

Quite apart from all the events we've organized, such as concerts including opera, recitals, jazz, bebop, rhythm & blues, not to mention variety performances.

We also run a seasonal village market, book fairs, quizzes, fish'n'chip suppers, art exhibitions, Christmas tree festival as well as ad hoc gigs.
