The action groups

 

Our committee needs action groups. These are an opportunity for you to focus on a particular concern that our organization is involved with. They deal with a variety of issues. Not everyone feels comfortable talking to people on the street or getting their hands dirty with yard work. So, getting involved in an action group is a great way to select the part of our organization that is right up your street.

 

Entertainments and Activities Group

This group organizes events such as the market, concerts, shows, fish'n'chip suppers, quiz nights, book fairs and exhibitions. If you feel you have a skill to offer, then make yourself known to us.

 

Finance Group

This group manages the organization's finances. If you are not afraid of budgets, balance sheets and tax returns, this is the right place for you.  

 

PR Group

This group helps make the organization better known. It puts together the website, advertisements, posters, banners and fliers and keeps in close contact with the press.

 

Churchyard Upkeep Group

This independent group helps to maintain the churchyard with the aid of volunteers from the local community.
