Our history
After just over four years, we're still a young organization
Many of the Friends have lived in the village most of their life; some even have family members who were born here, christened and married in the church, and now 'reside' in the grounds of St Lawrence. Other Friends are new to the village; they want to be part of the future of the village, but not at the expense of the historical heritage that's tied to the unique octagonal-shaped church in our midst.
We hope to gain members through interesting and enjoyable events organized to raise funds for the maintenance and development of St Lawrence – inside and outside. Over the years to come, we hope our continued involvement will grow, and that many events will become long-standing elements in the Rowhedge 'experience'.
We'll be happy and proud to make a difference.
